Frequently asked questions
About Dominion
- What is Dominion Investment Bank?
- Dominion is a crypto holding bank: a financial services platform combining a traditional banking-style account experience with digital financial infrastructure, including digital assets, portfolio services, tokenization, and collateralized credit. Dominion does not describe itself as a licensed bank or regulated investment firm unless that status is verified and published on the About page.
- Is Dominion a licensed bank?
- Dominion's legal and regulatory classification will be published on the About page once verified. Until then, no licensing, deposit insurance, or investor-protection claims are made.
Registration and verification
- How does registration work?
- Register with your email and choose Personal Banking or Business Banking. Registration creates unfunded accounts. Activation requires completing identity verification (KYC for individuals, KYB for businesses) and administrator approval.
- What documents do I need?
- Personal customers: government-issued photo ID, proof of address issued within the last 90 days, a selfie for identity matching, and verified phone and email. Business customers: certificate of incorporation, proof of business address, tax identification number, and operating authority such as a board resolution.
Currencies and jurisdictions
- What currencies and jurisdictions are supported?
- Only currencies and jurisdictions configured in the live platform are supported. The Eligibility & Jurisdictions page explains the current policy; the authenticated application shows the currencies actually available to your account.
Deposits, withdrawals, and fees
- How do deposits and withdrawals work?
- Once your account is approved, you fund it using a supported method shown inside the application. Deposits are credited only after payment verification; a receipt or screenshot alone does not confirm a payment. Withdrawal requests are reviewed before release.
- What fees apply?
- Applicable fees are published on the Fees & Charges page once confirmed, and any fee is disclosed before you confirm a transaction.
Digital assets
- How are digital-asset transactions processed?
- Deposits are credited after the required network confirmations and platform verification. Withdrawals are reviewed before release. Only assets and networks configured in the platform are supported — sending on an unsupported network can cause permanent loss.
- What are the risks of digital assets?
- Prices are volatile, blockchain transfers are irreversible, and network conditions can delay transactions. See the Risk Disclosures page for detail.
Crypto-collateralized lending
- How does crypto-collateralized lending work?
- Eligible customers pledge supported digital assets as collateral and apply to borrow against them under published product terms (loan-to-value ratio, interest, fees). Approved loans are funded from the institution's own capital.
- How are loans approved?
- Every application goes through underwriting against the published product terms. Holding collateral or a large portfolio does not guarantee approval.
- What happens if my collateral value declines?
- Your loan-to-value ratio rises. Product terms may trigger a margin call requiring additional collateral or partial repayment; unmet requirements can lead to liquidation of some or all collateral.
Support
- How can I contact support?
- Prospective customers can use the Contact page. Account holders can raise support tickets inside the authenticated application for account-specific help.
