How it works
You pledge eligible digital assets as collateral. Dominion values the collateral, applies a loan-to-value (LTV) ratio from the published product terms, and — if the application is approved under underwriting — disburses the loan from the institution's own lending capital.
Interest, fees, and repayment
Interest rates, fees, and repayment schedules come from the published loan product terms shown before you accept an offer. Repayment follows the agreed schedule; once the loan is repaid, collateral is released.
Margin calls and liquidation
If the collateral's value falls, the LTV rises. Product terms may require you to add collateral or repay part of the loan (a margin call). If requirements are not met, some or all collateral may be liquidated to repay the loan.
Eligibility
Approval depends on underwriting, product terms, jurisdiction, and verification status. No customer is guaranteed a loan based on portfolio size or deposit history.
Risk disclosure
Borrowing against volatile collateral carries a real risk of liquidation and loss of the pledged assets. You may owe amounts even after liquidation if proceeds do not cover the loan. Read the product terms and Risk Disclosures before applying.
Frequently asked questions
- Am I guaranteed a loan if I hold enough collateral?
- No. All applications go through underwriting against published product terms; holding collateral does not guarantee approval.
- What happens if my collateral's value drops?
- Your LTV rises. Product terms may trigger a margin call, and unmet requirements can lead to liquidation of some or all collateral.
